About the Role

An exciting full time opportunity to join Monkami's leadership team, no day will be like the other in this changing environment. With drive, passion and determination, you’ll lead and inspire our Centre Based Services team to provide quality person-centred supports for participants to achieve their identified goals, all while managing compliance and safety regulations.

Qualifications & experience

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in , community services, allied health, or human services;
  • Management and leadership experience in disability, allied health or community services;
  • Demonstrated experience in working with people with disability and/or human services sectors;
  • Experience in managing staff, rostering and work allocation;
  • Demonstrated experience in managing critical incidents and associated risk management and work health safety processes according to legislation;
  • Proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office and CMS – (Lumary an advantage); and
  • A complex working knowledge of the NDIS Act 2013 and related legislation.

Selection Criteria

  • Substantial relevant experience working in the community or human services sector.
  • Program management experience, including design, development and implementation.
  • Management experience including staff recruitment, training and performance coaching.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including conflict resolution, negotiation, problem solving and the ability to communicate effectively with participants, their families/carers/other stakeholders and Monkami staff members.


Monkami operates a stringent safety screening process for preferred candidates that will require two satisfactory professional references, an identity check, satisfactory national and international (where required) criminal history checks. 

Candidates must have the right to work in Australia.

In addition, employment will be subject to a satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening Check and completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation module. CPR and Provide First Aid must be current.
