Board of Directors Frank DixonChair Frank Dixon has over 30 years’ experience as a local government manager. Recent positions include Interim CEO at the City of Ballarat and CEO at the Cities of Maroondah and Launceston, where he was recognised as Tasmanian Leader of the Year in 2008. Frank has a Master of Business Administration and Advanced Company Directors Certificate. Frank’s other Board involvements have included Dianella Community Health, Hume-Moonee Valley Regional Library Corporation, Launceston Flood Authority and The Good Life Farm. Frank played a pivotal role in the establishment of the internationally recognised Hume Global Learning Village and he is currently involved with pursuing better solutions for young people suffering from substance abuse. Frank has a passion for achieving social justice outcomes and, as Chairman, wishes to provide leadership and assistance to Monkami in its implementation of the NDIS regime of funding for disability service providers. Kerri HareDirector Kerri Hare has a long relationship with Monkami, commencing as a volunteer at the Monkami Shoppe (also known as Monkami Op Shop Plus) the same week that her son began attending Monkami Day Services, over 17 years ago. Kerri not only volunteered at the shop every Friday until its close in November 2016, she served as the Chair of the Monkami Op Shop Plus Committee for its last 14 years. Kerri has a passion for the services that Monkami provides and found working with the many other wonderful volunteers to be personally rewarding. Joining the Board of Directors has given Kerri the opportunity to assist Monkami in its move towards the introduction of the NDIS. Dion BoydDirector Dion has served in the Not-for-Profit space for over 30 years in Finance, Information Technoloy and Digital Solutions. He now focuses on Strategy and Innovation to provide the best solutions to meet needs. Dion has extensive international experience which he now brings to Monkami. He supports several charitable organisations through his involvement with World Vision and the Salvation Army and looks forward to contribution further to Monkami. Ida LloydDirector With vast experience working in local government in the areas of customer service, community facilities and economic development Ida is looking forward to contributing to an organisation such as Monkami which is also within her local community. In recent years Ida has worked with not-for-profit organisations delivering Federal and State Government employment programs. With a deep awareness of diverse and inclusive employment practices Ida believes that this is a keystone which enables individuals to lead active and healthy community participation. Blair ReynoldsDirector Blair has a long history and lived experience with disability through his late brother, Ethan, and another sibling. Blair has held several roles, including Resort Operations Manager for Holiday Concepts Group, a timeshare operator, and currently serves as a Community Manager for retirement living operator Aveo. Blair completed a Master of Business Administration in 2022 and a Bachelor of Commerce in 2011.
